Satha Chandika homam is done by chanting 100 times devi mahathmyam which is also called Sapthasathi and performing the homam with 700 manthras of Sapthasathi 10 times. Sapthasathi is the most powerful manthra of Chandika Durga Parameswari , a combined swaroopa of Mahakali, Mahalakshmi, Mahasaraswathi.
